Rise and Fall of C&C

Was a nice watch. Must say my favorites were always Red Alert (Counter strike), Frank Klepacki's music and Kane himself. I still find it to be the best of the C&C franchise, however tiberium isn't within that time sphere unfortunately.

Like I had said previously, EA was the downfall, and killing Renegade 2 for battlefield 1942 was a miss. But at least we got what we did, and hopefully EA will bring something great back some day.

I was never a fan for C&C 4 as the mobile bases killed it. And even Red Alert 3 was a miss for me. I liked the new ideas a naval, but I found it cheapened the game with porn stars, everything died too easily, spamming units was too easy and of course as stated above, the push to micro.

But I guess we all have our own tastes eh?

If I made a C&C history video, mods would be in a separate video called "C&C Lives in Death" talking about major mods like Mental Omega and Rise of the Reds and Indie C&C games like Renegade X, W3D games, and Twisted Insurrection. Games and mods that expand and continue the series after C&C4 destroyed the franchise and EA pulled the plug. It would end with me giving thanks to the devs of these games and mods as well as the fans of this franchise for keeping it alive and going after 7+ years of no new official game.

Mods are usually left out of C&C history videos.

A silly mistake to make considering that modding pretty much created the concept of a broader "C&C community" starting mostly with the original Red Alert (Tiberian Dawn/C&C95 was too restrictive in accessibility and has too many hard coded things).

Redux? I'll be checking this out later!

It's quite the update. I recommend that you watch it sooner rather than later! Frankly, I really like this channel. '

Gotta say again, who wouldn't want to fight the Chinese with a lever action, supported by tanks with "SUCK ON THIS" written on the barrel back in 2009? Who the hell runs EA's marketing department? That was exactly what was hot back then
