Funny Ore Flakes -shameless advertising-

You may remember these from back in 2009 when I first showed them back on BHP. Now I decided to revive and improve them a bit, with some new artwork. Also, to go with them, a little advertising poster:

Yeah, I can do that. I've been meaning to update the map for a while to at least fix all the collisions and add an alternate "grip" ranger for people who have poor ping or are unfamiliar with the track.

I'm working on a few more billboards for Ridge Racer at the moment, so expect some more stuff in the future

I already applied it to a new board on Ridge Racer.

I kind of wanted to have it over the central ore field instead but there aren't many points in that area where you'd be able to easily see it.

@Pushwall Nice That will sure get people's attention when driving past it. Also I'm going to post these here instead of making another topic. Here's another billboard I made for Ridge Racer.

You should up-scale the toothless-man-holding-cup so it's comparable to the box while filling up the empty space. Makes the teeth more visible also.

I do agree that the soldier feels a bit small, but if I make him larger he'll get blurry. Since that is the largest pic of him on the internet that I could find.

You could always shrink the rest of the picture down to 1024x1024, but leave the soldier as he is. I need a power of 2 texture size for the mipmaps to work and increasing it to 2048x with a ton of blackspace, just for a texture that barely overreaches the previous threshold by being 1280x1024, isn't preferable as it bloats the filesize.

It's 1024x1024 in size, but also has those extra spaces. The actual artwork is 1024x840.

Yeah, that works! The whitespace could be the same blue as the border to reduce the chance of haloing but I can do that myself.
