  1. What the hell is going on in here.
  2. I've recommended this before. I never played with the Toxin Tractor but I would recommend making it the exact same stats as the Zippo so people don't complain about it (again). Aim for the head, excellent advice. Thank you.
  3. Of course a lot of testing will be required for any new unit and we'll see how gameplay is affected. However there are no plans to make this stealth detecting tank a Challenger II or something that is stupid hard to kill. Furthermore, being this tank will more than likely have Nod focusing all their fire on you. Aegis Field shield gen thingy. It's very useful when used properly. However, it has to also be taken into account that Nod can just stack up while said shield is turned on. Which typically happens anyways.
  4. I played a match on Mt.Pass whereupon 4 PICs hit the Nod Ref and did barely any damage. Furthermore, a tech repaired it and it was impossible to destroy. By this logic, 8 P.I.C.s vs a CY and 2 Techs can repair a building indefinitely. Which I believe is unfair. The point is that teamwork is unfair and will always prevail. It also takes teamwork to win a game even when you blow up a GDI base mostly. Don't want 8 people ramming your base and taking out a building? - Shoot the Chinook or APC down before they reach your base and constantly be scouting. Because they cant swim you'll kill 8 people if you're lucky. - Build base defenses/Turrets. - Plant proxies in tunnels. - Get a Nod Fanatics - Camp with a Koksan or Peony wherever you think they will land. - Blow up the enemy Barracks. - Deny GDI money. Honestly, the PICs cost 1750 each (1,000 if you want to die in 4 seconds). In addition, the upgraded heavy weapons is the most expensive upgrade as well. I don't understand how you can say it's unfair for 4 people or so to blow up a building when driving across the map unstealthed or running in a huge column. Better yet, all the PIC rushes are well known through the maps and are done late game giving you ample time to prepare. Mt. Pass - Map is beyond unbalanced. Not a good example, however PIC rushes happen in the tunnel above ref or at Nod PP. Buy SA-8 gekos and turrets to blow up chinooks and block off tunnels as a sapper while calling in !support. Hell just build some Anti Tank mines as well to ruin their day inside the tunnels. Industrial Strength - PIC rushes are uncommon here. If they occur it's because your team was going to lose anyways/lost obelisk. Infinite Isle - PIC rushes occur in the tunnels. So mine them by throwing proxie mines above so they get stuck inside the rock/invisible (You can also build turrets here and block the pathway and call support). PIC rushes also happen on the mountain, so have a Anti Tank Comanche to kill any Chinook and have the PICs fall to their death. Constantly play as a laser chain gunner. Winter Ass - Just block the tunnels with 5000 barriers. Put proxie mines to if you'd like and a shit ton of turrets. Park a Koksan there (power plant) so that whenever your team says there is a rush coming in you can just murder them all at once. Orca Heights - Just mine the ladder leading to your base or kill anyone in the field with a L.C.G. who is rushing you through the middle. Mt.Bog - Mine. The. Tunnels. Block the entrances as well with a dumb amount of barriers. Call in !support in the tunnels and encourage your team as well. Usually Roh6 will be firing a Koksan for an hour into the tunnels anyways so you'll be fine in the middle corridors. Suspense - PICs will run up in the ladders to your base 9/10 times. just be a laser chain gunner in the field and when you see this bullshit burn them to death. The LCG massive range and burn damage will kill them from afar. PIC rushes are typically a result of Nod blowing up a GDI building and getting cocky or near the end game and not paying attention and covering these obvious areas where they know GDI can/will PIC rush.. or being in the field without any real hold and just fucking off. If one PIC rush happens, another one will be guaranteed to happen right after it.
  5. We all would. However, there is a new GDI tank already modeled/developed and is able to detect stealth set to premiere later on in the year after testing. It might be the leopard 2... I for one vote for the Tiger 1 / 2 as it's an awesome tank. However, this mod is almost entirely one man who is quite busy with life. The fact we're here is quite amazing in my opinion and these things take time. Kaskins/dblaney have developed all these maps (And recently vile facility) , vehicles, adjustments/balances and such like ships. So it's quite alot to do. The good news however, is there is a new drone R/C unit about to be input in the game for scouting and to drive around (it's awesome). A new patch was just put out. Also if you're looking for some German WW2 Tankage.. the O-13 something from the forgotten war factory is actually the Hetzer Tank irl. Nod also has a bunch of WW2 Tanks. They are however so ineffective late game (or after 5 minutes honestly) that modeling more is just a gimmick if anything. The gun on a Tiger (88mm) is pathetic compared with anything this game has. In addition, the engine is slow, and it's armor I don't think was ever designed to stand up to dual 120mm Railguns. To model a unit which almost sees no use in reality besides "wow, this is cool!" then *Novelty worn off. Whatever* is not as good of a usage of time than making actual new units/weapons and models for the game that greatly can affect gameplay.
  6. - Wolverine is actually pretty OP. Going to nerf it some more. - There isn't much you can do when that amount of teamwork. Whilst it's a shame that 3-4 People can kill a building.. it's apart of the game. Proxie mines, denying your enemy Economy, snipers/vehicles and buildable defenses can all help to prevent this. You can also just blow up the enemies barracks when you get a chance. - I believe this in the same regard. After a certain point, getting a stealth unit really is the only option to survive long term and deal good damage in the field. Unless you're doing a specialty rush or something consisting of arty which further backs up your point. Although to be fair, the Flame Tank is great when the opportunity presents itself. The Super Tank for Nod is a great way to spearhead a rush and is incredibly deadly in close combat or when you need something to take hits in a rush. While not complete, don't forget to check out the Tacitus to read more on Tactics for units and stratagies. There is a map guide as well. Use the Styrker AGTM. With the nerf's to Hinds you can kill them now with this unit. Actually, the best course of action as Nod is to drive to the Forgotten Silos. Go to the left side (Hon side) with a buggy and techie. Get to the middle and capture the turret above. The turret along with the Electric Tiberium Puff Zapper will help hold the position for you. Then go towards the water and there will be a small cliff. You can then use this to capture the silos. Although it is best to make sure there is no GDI presence or have GDI capture the silos (Hide) and then put a timed C4 on each silo. Blow them up and capture them. @ all reading this. The Infared Tank was also updated with a much faster firing main laser. The damage however for it is toned down a bit. The charge laser I believe stays the same.
  7. We can make this a mafia Game if everyone really commits themselves to it.
  8. Mammothtank. go to main page of W3DHub and look in section of links on top that says chat. Then go to the Teamspeak 3. Click it and it’ll give you the download links along with where to go for TS3 (teamspeak 3) for W3DHub. Then open up settings on TS3, plug your mic in and play around with it. Also get a license to drive a Mammoth Tank when you can.
It was pretty alright. 10/10 would rage again.
  9. There was one mission in C&C Generals where you have to play as the GLA and drive demo trucks to some navy base. Apparently you could disguise yourself as a battleship so you just have 4 battleships driving around the map.
  10. Keep Hind how it is currently in the normal server with a little reduction in health. It's an awesome fun unit. A slight nerf in Hind vs building is ok. Although if one Hind can camp a building then they deserve whatever happens to them.
  11. Buy a T-62 if you’re nod and you have no idea what you’re doing or a Mammoth Tank Railgun if you’re GDI. It really is that simple. Also recon bikes can be used with petrova to EMP titans or you can use arty. Although I have no idea why you would use ethier when you can use a T-62 but whatever. in terms of this laundry list of units, I will admit some suck more than others. However it’s up to you to find which work for your playing style and use those from there. sasha kyoto loves Petrova and infiltrator Roz loves using the home guard and M113 APC. Guard55 loves the Designated marksman I love the mammoth 36 inch, Hind-M24, Iowa battleship JB Fletcher loves the mammoth tank railguns and T-62 falcod uses only arty. there are varying units of different effectiveness so that no matter what your economy is you (despite losing ref) you can still play to which style suits you. For example I cannot go without auto repairs yet DMB suggested a long time ago removing tank crew (100 credits, +5 hp to vehicles every 3 seconds). So while there are a lot of units.. everyone adapts their own strategy and removing many of not even one would fuck everyone up more so than any nerf or retarded buff that exists.
  12. They're actually $12,000 due to scripting error.
  13. In response to everyone here. As nod, use Banshees against ships. By the time GDI rolls out battleships you should have some upgrades done for aircraft. Banshees are great against ships. Oh yeah, *On your last shot before reloading, use right click for double damage*. Use arty (Peon or Koksan). also by the time GDI rolls out their ships you can afford arty. Arty will also force the ship to attempt to hit you and take away the focus from your base. This will help buy your team some time to attack said ship. You're going up against a $12,000 Battleship, you’re gonna need some teamwork, sorry. THE BIGGEST THING as well is that on some maps, economy plays a huge role in GDI getting ships. I know it’s impossible just about in Winter Assault... but on infinite isle if you can hurt your opponents economy. They can’t get ships. Capturing or destroying silos on winter Assault will also Slow down GDI economy. Hell, you can capture the GDI turrets in Harv field to constantly kill their Harv, keep soley killing their solos and you’ll REALLY hurt them. By doing this you (soley) are hurting EVERYONE on GDI. Instead of just a 1v1 battle. The Nod/GDI battleship strings are fucked up. It says they cost $16,000 but I believe they actually cost $12,000. Torpedo boat was buffed recently, try it out. If it still sucks, post here about it please and we’ll update it accordingly. Titans are the slowest unit in the game. They also cost $3,700 and are stupid tall. Just hit them with some EMP Grenades and teamwork (Anti tank commanche, Ezikel, or Infared). In fact, the supercharged shot doesn’t do that much more damage to Nod vehicles if any at all. The primary use for the secondary shot is anti infantry/a tiny bit more of a range increase. *Use the left click normal Titan shot to do more damage to vehicles because it reloads faster. Using right click against vehicles will decrease your reload speed so much you’re hurting yourself*.
  14. To use the Nona, you have to click T to deploy. After deploying use the right click to send the mortar wherever your reticle is aiming. You can send that fucker half a map away honestly, the range is incredible. BDRM is worthless against anything GDI related. To counter the Anti Tank Commanche, just fire an ADATS rocket at it while you're in a group rush. Designate yourself to being Anti Air watch while your team is moving out. Stay in the middle. You can also get a Hover MLRS and if you're lucky enough maneuver underneath the Comanche so it has to readjust and then kill it. Other than that, it's pretty difficult.

Tired of the HON Windows and having to shoot them out to see? Me to. This file allows you to see through the windows without having to shoot them out every time you rejoin a game. Drop it here to install. ThisPC > LocalDisk C: > Program Files (x86) > W3DHub > Games > ia release > IAFiles > InterimApex > ttfs > files 1E8B9509.hnd_window.dds
  16. Good evening all. @DMB @notDMB Is having a problem where a custom HUD was redone for IA by me and isn't working because the numbers fail to show. I've told him to put all the files (Hud.ini , d6Hud) into the proper places and it still doesn't work. He's tried installing and uninstalling to no avail along with messing with the settings. Any suggestions on what to do next? (P.S. The very exact same settings work for me and my computer.)
  17. I just always end up using the 2S9 Nona Mortar to destroy GDI buildings in the course of 1 minute. Gather a rush of 3 and you can destroy a building with it in 10-20 seconds. This doesn't answer the Nod vs GDI water combat thing, but Nod has this often overlooked unit that can stay very hidden they never use and it pains me i'm always the only one using it (to great effect if i may add). ADATS rush wise, I just use the Tunguska against them and pray for the best. Of course, any rush ADATS or not is nearly impossible to hold back against if your team isn't united against it.
  18. Proxie mines will stay in place untill disarmed or activated no matter what. Even if the player who placed them leaves.
  19. Nod has SBH and stealth tanks along with stealth helicopters
  20. Ironically, for the good and keen player the spy has alot of potential. The spy can see what nod is doing from a vantage point, place a basically undisarmable beacon in HON top assuming you're able to get there and If you're vetted up high enough you can place a beacon, call in support, throw fake timed C4 on the beacon to help buy you some time and right before you die use !char to buy even more time. It's more difficult the more players there are, however even in high player games the potential to destroy a building if you're very careful is high. Hell you can even go inside the CY and kill everyone inside without retaliation, clearing the way for your team to sneak in and C4 it. The spy has also had its armor taken away recently. @ everyone here
  21. Currently we have a lack of Wiki writers. If you can send us some content and would like to help we may be willing to recruit you into a wiki writer. I mean this sincerely but this wiki does not write itself. There’s quite a lot of content to be put in, pictures, sections, knowledge and tips
  22. Well to be fair, they are and when ships started out it was a simple “buy $800 ORCA to kill $12,000 battleship”. I used the banshee when it was a ship sieging our base and it’s Guns were focused on structures. This allowed me to reload fairly ok time and move fast hit and runs on the ship while it’s guns went from buildings to me back to buildings. it should be noted however that ships are incredibly expensive, slow and need to be countered with team work. The aiming on them against ground units is also questionable from range. I believe different tactics need to be made as the previous ones were not working. I also believe it is hard to give reason that such an expensive unit cannot kill an $800 ORCA Fighter or Apache. The destroyer is a bit more OP than it should be for air though with the missile it fires (I believe at Aircraft). So I can see toning that down a bit... but it is weaker and meant to serve as support, not building destruction. For the battleship, I think it should kill ORCA’s no problem. It’s massive, tons of guns and against land units it’s not all that great. Hell you can just get a battleship to fight against anouther if you’re that worried about it. If you don’t have the $ for it then you’ll realize that’s what this game is about and hope be better prepared next time.
