  1. Since launching W3D Hub, we've promised a wealth of content, including tutorials. we'd like to know what tutorials we should make first! Let us know what you guys want to know about the W3D engine and we'll do our best to cover it in our upcoming content. Just leave a request here and we'll put it on our list!
  2. Although this tutorial is pretty old and for RenX it should be pretty helpful: http://renhelp.laeubi.de/tutorial-textures-tutorial.html What you need to do is create a Renegade material in the material browser, plug in your texture and then apply it to your model. I should probably do a tutorial on this at some point.
  3. We could always potentially bolt a couple of TD maps onto Reborn in the future if the assets are available and we have time.
  4. Lost to this same :keke: Yup. I've lost to this too.
  5. This is looking great Timeaua! Hopefully in the coming months we'll be able to bring more players to TSR that will see all of your hard work pay off!
  6. Granted, but Limp Bizkit haven't had any new material in a few years. I wish I could be a rock star.

    W3D vs UDK

The point of Max8 being acquired is a pretty moot one, seeing as if we switched to UDK we'd have to get newer versions of Max anyway.
  8. Granted, but it will always be be in complete disarray because of blizzards, hurricanes and tornadoes. I wish AR was finished.
  9. Are you trying to tell us something madrox?
  10. Sounds fun! I'll check it out if I'm around!
  11. The Chemwarrior needs some green on him somewhere. Maybe a Green biohazard patch on this uniform?
  12. We are currently using Chronowar's Mirage Tank and Vengeance's Tesla Trooper as placeholders in AR. I have all of the source files for Vengeance. I remember this mod! I keep in touch with Staude on Facebook nowadays. He was a talented guy! Good times indeed!

    W3D vs UDK

Part of the reason that we made this community is because we actually enjoy developing games for W3D regardless of their appeal to the wider gaming community. Although, I am of the opinion that with a proper distribution method (the launcher) and the proper PR steps taken, a lot of people would actually be willing to play. FPS games like Guncraft and Roblox have terrible graphics, but are still popular. I also took a look at another game called 7 Days to Die recently which also has sub-par graphics when you compare it to something like Reborn. The fact of the matter is, gameplay is way more important than graphics ever will be. We're working on more high poly assets for AR currently which seems to be turning out well. I also think that we can find more developers if we actually produce better tutorials on map-making, rigging and generally modding the engine. W3D won't be dead for a long while.
  14. We could always have a look at rigging the arms up for 90 degrees FoV. I imagine that spacing the arms further apart from each other would help. We can get together and consult Eggfeg about it for sure!
  15. In more ways than one. Thanks for stopping by.
  16. Granted, but you will always be late. I wish dinosaurs still existed.
  17. '- That's no worries. We left your account and a select few others in-tact because you guys were posting over here without any issues.
  18. Since launching the community we have been hearing several users voice their displeasure about how the user accounts, pms and forums from BHP have been retained. To rectify this, we have consequentially deleted all of the normal member accounts, deleted all of the old pm's associated with those accounts and also deleted the old forums archive (which date back to the pre-BHP days). The stats have been recounted, so that the post counts match up to the number of threads. If any users have any more concerns, please feel free to pm either myself, danpaul88, TeamWolf or WallyWood about it. [danpaul88 edit below] Your password safety IP.Board stores passwords in a hashed format using a salt to increase the entropy of the hash. In practice this means that it was effectively impossible for us to read your password from the data we had. This also applies to any new passwords. Regardless of that, we do strongly suggest people employ good password hygiene as a matter of course. This includes measures such as regularly changing your passwords, avoiding re-use of the same password across multiple places (especially anything sensitive such as bank accounts or email servers) and using a strong password which doesn't consist of common dictionary words or predictable sequences. Your private messages We have no interest in your private messages, these remained private for the duration and have been erased alongside your accounts.
  19. We've temporarily shut down our testing operation for the time being, but we'll bring it back once we are ready.
  20. I attended Global Games Jam last weekend at my old University. It's an event where we were challenged to make a game within 48 hours. During the event the organisers called me up for an interview, so here it is! Also here is some footage from the game we managed to crank out (with a little help from TSR)!
  21. It'd be good to get the FoV set to 90, but we'd have to a take a look at how the weapons are rigged up in order to do that. I can always get in touch with Eggman891 and get him to maybe give me a crash course.
