Hey guys! Don't forget to check the steam sales regularly. There's always gem or three there somewhere. Right now you can get all 3 "Data hacker" games as well as all 3 "Earth" games (2140, 2150, 2160) for less than $7 combined

Man I would love to play but I'll be out of town visiting family. I'll have a gaming laptop with me so there's a slight possibility I could jump in at some point but not likely. Hope lots of people join and all have fun though! @GenCamo - My laptop is for sale

Update bump. January 8 will be my last day working here at the motorhome plant. I have decided to pursue a 2-year business degree so that when I hopefully someday open a computer repair shop, I won't be totally lost on the business aspect of things. I will be resuming my "part-time" position at the college in their IT department, but I will be allowed to work as much as I want. It is a minimum wage job ($7.25/hr) but at least its something. I am actually quite excited about it because I will be returning to work in my hometown (and state) and the drive will be less than 10 minutes.

Not sure how many people here are/were fans of the Tribes series of games, but today Hi-rez released an update for Tribes: Ascend! Its been over 2 and a half years since an update and the game has undergone a major overhaul. On top of that, all the previous Tribes games are free now as well and you can download them here! Lots of really good (AND FREE) games here, just thought I would let everyone know!

Great idea! I had actually wanted to try this once the holiday months got out of the way. I don't believe anything super special happens in January that warrants a theme so how about we start with that? When everyone is finished discussing whatnot in this thread, post what you want to be on the ballot for next month! Well then odds are you could get both that and the power supply moved over to the new system. Might not have to spend any money right now if you're just looking to get it able to play games. Just about any 1gb card will get you that. Though we could verify that with a model number and a google search!

Try to find a model number on a sticker or something if you don't mind...and does it have a graphics card in it already by chance?

If the old one is ATX then yes. Is the drive all thats wrong with your old PC? What model is it?
