  1. Spot on AZ Also, welcome Greekperson! Do introduce yourself and make yourself at home. Also if you haven't done so already, please read all forum and in-game rules. If you have any more questions, please ask and we'll be happy to answer! See you ingame!
  2. Are you dying or pelvic thrusting Both
  3. The official (Delta™ Delta™)™ flag.
  4. (Thats a bot user dave) >grabs card > runs
  5. Coincidence most likely. It is my understanding that the issue here is that the launcher doesn't currently expect the possibility that MSVC 2015 might already be installed, and so when it encounters that condition then it doesn't quite know what to do about it. Hopefully we'll have it fixed soon!
  6. Half life has a flag ok? Your argument is invalid.
  7. Right then! Lets get back to shooting each other shall we?
  8. Could be a split moment of server lag generated by so many destructions + the end-of-map sequence? Just a thought. Cool stuff though! There should be an achievement for that
  9. @DH Lets get back on target shall we? If there is a legitimate issue that you wish to raise against harvester or NodGuy or MPRA2, then these forums are the place for it. We ask that you please limit your complaints to one incident/player per thread though. Also bear in mind that Renegade X is not one of our games and we do not host a server for that game. Any complaints or issues related to in-game events for RenX or any other non-W3DHub game should be raised on their respective forums. Why don't you go back and read my response to your comments about the first lady, eh? Politics are fine to discuss (within the forum rules for behavior). Profanity must be kept in check.....but that isn't quite all to the story as to why you find yourself in your current predicament. The way in which you presented your information in that case is what eventually lead to the events that landed you in your current state, and I outlined all of that very clearly in my response in that thread. I find it ironic that you're calling out harvester for taking something out of context and in the very next post that you proceed to do it yourself. I don't believe I need to say any more on the "first lady" matter. If anyone has a question about it, feel free to PM me. Also: Listen to Voe please.
  10. Hey there! I've moved this thread to the help forum as it fits better here Thanks for giving all this info with your issue. Maybe it will help us in getting this resolved. We are aware of this issue and are working on a solution. You are actually not the only one having this problem so that raises the priority just a tad. We'll let you know as soon as we find a solution! In the mean time, if you discover anything else that you feel might be useful, please let us know!
  11. Hey there! Glad you found us! There are still a handful here from that time period.
  12. Right, I forgot about those. But aren't those actually for the games and not the launcher itself?
  13. I guess I can agree with making the update and uninstall buttons slightly larger/more obvious. I've never had trouble finding them though. As for uninstalling the launcher, its just a single self-contained executable in programfiles\w3dhub so an uninstaller that deletes a single file wouldn't be worth much to me As far as your issues with updating you'll just need to delete your "C:\ProgramData\W3D Hub\Launcher\package-cache\games\apb" folder. Should do the trick. If not, let me know! Also check the help forum and more specifically this thread if nothing I suggest helps.
  14. Cool story br0. Lets do it again
  15. Well thats because its a BGA type processor Sorry dude, it looks like you'll need a new board to fix this one. (Remember BGA is the kind that is made onto the board) If you're not up to swapping that out, then its time for a new one. And nobody can blame you for not wanting to attempt that haha. Your first teardown is usually the source of a nice headache! But at least we were able to nail down the issue. Without you remembering that last detail, we would all still be stuck wondering! Best of luck, and if you need any more advice then just holler!
  16. Alstar, you could always proxy yourself to poland
  17. LOL well there you have it folks! Nope, that would have been the CPU fan. It sounds like you have a bad fan which caused the CPU to overheat. All of the symptoms line up exactly now. Good news is, its probably a cheap fix if you feel up to replacing that. You'll need both a CPU and a fan though.
  18. Yup, BigJoe beat me to it There are ways to force a power-on to test some things but I wouldn't recommend that unless you're really comfortable with that type thing. And it involves a paper clip if you don't have the tool that was made to do it so....yeah. I would leave it unplugged until you can either get the power supply tested or replaced. Leaving it powered can actually damage other components even if its "off" (because part of it is actually on all the time while its plugged in). Leaving it powered with a damaged power supply can actually feed "dirty power" to the other components and that's not good for them. On the bright side, you're probably looking at less than $75 for a replacement unless you just have a really high power demand, and it only takes a few minutes to do if you take it to a shop. Best of luck!
  19. Awesome! Sounds like a little unofficial game event Also, welcome Willy! I notice you're new here. We hope you enjoy our games and community forums! Be sure to check out the game and forum rules and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
  20. Lol I tend to buy things "on a lag" too. Its ok I just can't afford all these expensive games! If you're ok with a used one, then I would go for something with nvidia 500m or 600m series, at least 512mb dedicated but a whole Gig would do you well, at least 4 cores on the CPU, and 4-8GB of ram. I would HIGHLY recommend getting an SSD because they make a world of difference as far as general responsiveness goes. You should be able to find something like that without a SSD for $400-$600. Its not a big deal to add a SSD to one after you buy it. A nice new 250GB one from Samsung will run you about $90 depending on the exact model. I forgot to mention above that samsung and sony are good brands too, they just don't really make "gaming" class laptops. Mostly just really nice normal-ish ones. They do make models with gaming cards in them, they just don't market them as gaming laptops
  21. Oh i have no doubt that it can run a non-graphically intense game from EIGHT years ago just fine! If you have a pretty recent laptop with a modern chipset then it can do stuff like that but it will suffer in a FPS game versus a "real" graphics chip. Integrated graphics is not made for gaming, its just when the CPU handles video processing rather than a chip that was actually designed to be good at it. I'm an AMD fan when it comes to desktops but for laptops I choose nvidia. It just tends to work better and run cooler in my experience.
