DeviousDave
Syndicate is currently free on Origin https://www.origin.com/en-gb/store/free-games/on-the-house it's a pretty old but decent enough tactical turn based strategy game in the Xcom vein of things. also GOG has a free games page here: http://www.gog.com/games##sort=bestselling&price=free&page=1 I'd recommend Beneath a Steel Sky which is a point and click adventure game set in a distopian future of malfunctioning robots and dictatorial governments. And here's a remake of a very Very Very old Aliens game (1987) http://derbian.webs.com/lv-426/ You play as the marines + Rippley as you move around Hadleys hope and the atmospheric processor trying to find and destroy the Aliens lair... it's a super basic fps that is stupidly hard and insanely fun (it even does coop) I'd also recommend checking out Outpost 41 on the same website, uses the same system as Lv426 (basic FPS) but is set in its own universe and has a more horror aspect to it (god damn jump scares) and vertical game play (multi leveled base) I'll post some more later or tomorrow
DeviousDave
Part 2 Cry of Fear http://store.steampowered.com/app/223710/ A FPS horror game based on the Half Life 1 engine and can be quite unnerving at times with enemies ranging from traditional zombie like psychos to stuff dragged kicking and screaming straight out of Silent Hill (floating ghost women with knife wielding babies springs to mind) Has a good plot twist to it and an interesting coop campaign that follows on from where the single player game ended (and makes you question what actually happened in the single player game) Orion Dino Prelude keep an eye out on this website http://trek-industries.com/?post_type=forum Every so often the dev's do a give away where they post unlock codes for the game, I believe there may be a one going on at the moment. As for the game itself its basically a Killing Floor clone with dinosaurs and jetpacks, it was horrendously broken upon launch but at this moment and time most issues have been fixed while the game itself can be quite fun if you manage to get into a multiplayer game (AI bots are dumb in single player and by dumb I mean 'trying to kill a T-Rex with a knife while Raptors eat the objective' dumb) Void Destroyer This one is for modders only http://steamcommunity.com/app/259660/discussions/0/648816742655449286/ The dev of Void Destroyer likes mods and modders so has a challenge in place where anyone with a modding background (that they can prove) who has a cool idea for a mod for Void Destroyer can contact the developer and potentially receive a free copy of the game so that they can make their mod come to life. If you already own the game you can get more copies free by finding game killing bugs, once the dev verifies the bugs existence by duplicating it, you get a game key as a thank you. As for what Void Destroyer is, it's a space Fps/Rts hybrid with semi-Newtonian physics and a very HomeWorld 2 feel to it where you build fleets and command them via an Rts overhead camera then dive down into the action by taking control of any unit you wish, from tiny snub fighters to kilometer long battleships, and then fight it out with the enemy in a very Wing Commander-esc fashion... It's also INSANELY hard with somewhat awkward controls but could potentially win the award for most bullets on screen at the same time. Plokite_Wolf
(I had a Witcher 2 Free Game link but turned out to be a pay-a-subscription-and-get-the-game type of thing, sorry!) I got an actual Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition copy during one of GoG's giveaways (7 tokens were required, one could be gained each day by simply clicking). This is kinda strange, was it from them? AZ-Stalker
I got that one, collected all 7 tokens. It was for the GoG version but via a payed subscription to a third party site. So it wasn't completely free - I got ahead of myself and posted it too early... edited it out afterwards.

GeneralCamo
Oh, I have plenty of free games! There are many here at this link: [link removed] User was banned for: Posting Warez ...just kidding? Not sure if this is acceptable in this thread, but here is a very good game I have been playing for the past few years: OpenTTD: https://www.openttd.org/en/ This game is a free open-source clone of the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe. It includes everything the original had, plus a LOT more. And it is extremely moddable, which I know this community loves. It is also very lightweight as well: It runs easily on a cell phone or tablet.
Nodlied
Heh, OpenTTD, I've wasted countless hours playing that game (and TTD itself).

Einstein
Hey guys! Don't forget to check the steam sales regularly. There's always gem or three there somewhere. Right now you can get all 3 "Data hacker" games as well as all 3 "Earth" games (2140, 2150, 2160) for less than $7 combined

Einstein
Yes! I thought they looked good as well. I remember seeing them new but not having the money and then I just forgot about them. They play like somewhere between a Civ game and a C&C game. Looks like much fun! And for less than $3 for all of it? Why not?!?

AZ-Stalker
Consortium is free on Steam up until this Monday. It's a story-driven decision heavy starship crew detective-interactive-shooting singleplayer from what I've seen.

Popular Post BigJoe
The Dumpening Has Begun!!! Got a big batch of game keys to drop off here. Instead of doing what I usually do, I am going to just post 'em all right here and let you guys have at it. The only thing I request of you guys is that you make sure you post which game key you took and that you are considerate of other people getting the codes. You can take how ever many or few that you want to take, but don't be a huge jerk and take them all just because you can. Please be aware: Some of these keys might not work. I have had these keys for quite some time now and I'm fairly sure that some of these keys have been used by myself at some point, yet they are listed as "unredeemed" in my Humble Bundle account. Please be aware that you may get a key that does not work. If that is the case then post which one it is so I can delete it from the post. Steam keys: Company of Heroes: Complete Edition - GONE Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War: Game of the Year Edition - GONE Bioshock - GONE Bioshock 2 - GONE The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - GONE Serious Sam 3: BFE - GONE Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box - GONE C&C Red Alert 3: Uprising - GONE Dead Space - GONE Mirror's Edge - GONE GOG.com keys: Battle Realms - GONE Origin keys: Battlefield 3 - GONE
