  1. I can imagine. Bridge Commander and Elite Force II sold the worst, not because of quality, but because they were made at the end of Activision's hold of the license. In 2003, after Elite Force II was released, Activision allegedly sued Paramount for poor handling of the franchise, which could have affected sales - this did make sense, since all Paramount did at the time was Nemesis (ugh) and Enterprise, so Star Trek dipped in the eyes of the public. Not sure how that went for them, but they immediately lost the rights to selling Star Trek games (but I think you could ask for replacement discs by ~2008). Too bad, since apart from Starfleet Command 1/2/Orion Pirates and 25th Anniversary/Judgement Rites, Activision published the only good Star Trek games.
  2. BTW, fuck IPSv4 and its lack of code view.
  3. Raven Software - Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force (2000) FASA Studio & Cyberlore - MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries (2002) Monolith - No One Lives Forever (2000) & No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy In H.A.R.M.'s Way (2002) Blizzard - StarCraft (1998) & StarCraft: Brood War (1998)
  4. Of the "digital" versions, I only played MicroProse's Risk II from 2000. It's okay and neatly configurable, but the multiplayer only makes sense if you don't have the boardgame handy. Don't know when I last played it, but it shouldn't be a problem to get it running either. Also, the 1993 boardgame visage FTW.
  5. I prefer the tabletop version
  6. Why don't you say when those errors appear and which version do you have? Anyway, proper installation/patching guide be here: http://www.cncnz.com/features/technical-support-help-guides/installing-command-conquer-renegade/
  7. Fanboy much? Westwood was shit at organizing themselves, and had a million little projects they stretched their staff in during the early 2000s.
  8. My instance of Chrome can only do that when I manually put https:// instead of http://. Again, we do not yet use HTTPS.
  9. Thanks for reporting, I'll be going through the individual game portals soonish anyway.
  10. Oh, that. That's a more recent addition to Firefox, it says so for all non-HTTPS websites.
  11. I'm also on Firefox 53.0.3, but the only way I can replicate this is by adding HTTPS in the URL (which we do not yet have).
  12. Which browser, and can you provide a screenshot? We don't have an SSL certificate (yet), so that might be the culprit for some.
  13. With all those sold copies and always-heated multiplayer servers, I'm sure.
  14. We have lots of articles/specials, portals etc. from previous website designs, so Sonic decided to use WordPress. The plugin we had was good and effective for IPBv3, but wasn't compatible with IPSv4.
  15. That's because upgrading to IPSv4 forums broke the link to the WordPress-powered site. We have a plugin wannabe in place now, but it's less than perfect.
  16. The site has been taken over by an ex-staff member and friend, @Zee Hypnotist.
  17. Wouldn't surprise me, with the shutdown announcement being unexpected even to us remaining staff.
  18. That's odd. Tried lowercase, or refreshing to get a new question?
  19. [blurb]CNCNZ isn't shutting down! It was, but now it's not![/blurb] Friends, it is with great regret that I inform you that CNCNZ.com, the second-longest running C&C community site, is shutting down in the coming days. Archive what you can and care about. http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/20688-all-good-things-its-time-say-to-goodbye/ Ninjaedit: CNCNZ isn't shutting down!
  20. I don't usually play games with an end boss mechanic, and I've used the Vohrsoth from Star Trek: Elite Force 1 twice now, so here's Dane Vogel from Saints Row 2.
  21. GVMERS published an updated, corrected and 10 minutes longer version of the video:
  22. If Pingu is not in the released version of AR in some form, I swear...
  23. The system requirements are a bit steep for me.
