  1. Keep on rockin' in Galbadia!! Also, have to post this:
  2. This was playing in my head while choosing for this month's theme. It's been 10 years since the final season and I want a live action movie or a REAL new season. Also:
  3. It's recognized as Bioshock's predecessor. Ken Levine worked on System Shock 2 years before he made Bioshock. System Shock is about a hacker who hacked a space station but was caught. He had the choice to hack the AI to the Station, SHODAN, or go to jail. The hacker chose the former and got rewarded with cybernetics and was put to sleep on the station. Meanwhile, SHODAN believed it was a god and transformed the crew of the space station into cyborgs and monsters. You start playing the hacker after he wakes up from his sleep and have to stop SHODAN and save the Earth. Here's the intro:
  4. Also, System Shock 3 is in development as well. Here's a link to a teaser site for that.
  5. In my head canon, the Pacific Front of WWII still happened (just called the Pacific War in this timeline) and ended the same way until RA3 removed the nuke and later transformed the remnants of the Japanese Empire into the Empire of the Rising Sun.
  6. Soviets don't need a Hind for that; stairs lead up to the upper level and MCT room, which is intended by design to limit the number of possible attack routes to 3, the same number as the Sub Pen. The Sub Pen does this limiting of routes by the design of the building, so for the naval Yard I had two options; Block off the lower area with walls and make it no longer look like a Red Alert inspired naval building, or force a similar gameplay effect via locked doors. That said, take this roof landing theory; but then apply the knowledge that in the base itself also exist several AA Guns, including one on top of the Construction Yard close to the Naval Yard. Unless the AA defenses are destroyed by ships or infantry, the air space above the naval buildings and bases is effectively a no-fly zone. Edit: To be clear; I tested trying to charge at the Naval Yard and Sub Pen with a helicopter to see how close I'd get. I never made it near them. So, the only door to the Sub Pen MCT is not going to be faction locked like in it's WIP video then since Naval Yard's is accessible, just going to be tough to get to it.
  7. I think I see a small flaw with the Advance Naval Yard. A hind could crash land on the upper deck and the pilot would be able to attack the MCT since the side upper doors aren't faction locked liked the lower ones. Heck, one side next to a door is big enough for a helicopter to land there with only having to worry about just 1 AA gun.
  8. So, is this a new version of RIA or is this the same as the Zunnie posted on IndieDB before? http://www.indiedb.com/games/renegade-imperial-age I'm just asking so people don't get confused and download an outdated launcher that might lead to a dead server or something.
  9. Actually, C&C3 was on SAGE/W3D engine, just like Renegade, Generals, RA3, and Twilight. It's just that RA3 and Twilight used a more heavily modified version called SAGE 2.0. Command and Conquer never got a new 3D engine until the now canceled Generals 2, which ran on Battlefield 4's Frostbite 3 engine.
  10. C&C Generals Minimum requirements: Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP Processor: Intel Pentium III/AMD Athlon - 800MHz Memory: 128 MB RAM CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Drive: 8x Hard Disk Space: 1.8 GB Graphics Card: 32MB - Nvidia GeForce 2 or ATI Radeon 7500 AGP video card or newer supported Sound Card: 16-bit DirectX 8.1 Compatable Keyboard Mouse Recommended Configuration: Processor: Intel Pentium IV/AMD Athlon - 1.8GHz Memory: 256 MB RAM or more Graphics Card: 64MB - Nvidia GeForce 3 or more recent video card As long as the computer has came out in the last 10 years, you should be fine. 11. probally yes I have both Rise of the Reds and C&C Shockwave install on my computer at the exact same time and they work fine without crashing or fighting each other.
  12. Of course for RA2, there's Mental Omega. Here's Indie C&C games that are heavily modified versions of Tiberian Sun (like APB, TSR, AR, WoA, and TCW are for Renegade) that don't need Tiberian Sun. Those are Twisted Insurrection (an alternate Tiberium Universe that takes place after the Nod campaign in Tiberian Dawn) and Dawn of the Tiberium Age (Tiberian Sun with TD and RA1 graphics with the factions of both games) to name a couple.
  13. Figures, but it would have been nice to see someone attempt at making one since everything else has been done on the W3D engine EXCEPT for RA3.
  14. They did, it was called Tiberium. It was cancelled because it "didn't meet EA's quallity assurance standards". Then we got C&C4. Go figure. Oh... THAT game... Tiberium is not Renegade 2. THIS was Renegade 2 (EA canceled this in favor of Battlefield 1942) http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/cnc/images/2/20/Ren2_Scavenger_Refinery_Screenshot_2.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100430083356 It's was supposed to be a prequel that takes place in between Yuri's Revenge and Tiberian Dawn. There would be 3 factions: The Allies, The Soviets, and a new faction called the Scavengers (who later evolved into Nod's army)
  15. Had to get this out of the way. Anyway, I don't anymore but I used to play the Recorder and Snare Drum in Middle School.
