    Can we have a "time to impact" countdown then? Kinda like the superweapon timers in RA. I'm willing to compromise here

    New idea. May or may not be possible, but I suspect it is. Flares placed on rooftops take twice as long to deploy, twice as long for the nuke to actually hit, and disarm in half the normal time. Boom.

    Interesting thought. Not to derail, but what if we did look at some balancing here? A few will remember that the RenAlert (APB Alpha) version of this map had some tunnels and a cavern too I believe. What if we added an underground area like was on Hourglass? That was nice. And it could be used in some way to "equalize" things. Thoughts? Might be better to do this in a different thread though.

    I'm curious about this change. My guess is because if these are the only two buildings you have left, you're just delaying the inevitable anyway? (anti-stalemate feature)

    Both of us actually. You should know, we hired you at one point @kubolek01 Read through that thread that Jeod posted, as all the information you need is there. If its something that you think you would be willing to put time and effort into, then feel free to apply when we begin accepting applications again. But please understand that we don't just take anyone as a "tester" who just wants to see the unfinished product. To remain a tester, you have to do the job. Thanks for your interest!

    Yeah! haha so I was PM'ing with him a couple years ago, something about TibDawn, and I mentioned that the EA folks have really just forgotten this franchise/don't care anymore, etc, thus me contacting him for help on the issue I was having. And he replied with that He's a pretty cool guy, and knows his stuff!

    For this reason, we're trying to collect as much information in our tutorials section as we can find. If you have anything to contribute to it, it is most welcome!

    Not sure honestly. Some of your ideas sound plausible if we were to include the vat, but unless something changes, we wont be seeing the cloning vat in AR.

    Go to this folder: C:\ProgramData\W3D Hub\Launcher\package-cache\games\apb\3.1.4.0 and delete the offending package file. Try the install process again and let us know if it works please. Also, I'll move this thread to the appropriate help forum once you've seen this.

    Alright then. Try deleting this folder: C:\ProgramData\W3D Hub\Launcher If that doesn't work then please post your launcher logs and danpaul will take a look.

    Make sure you aren't out of disk space. You'll need at least a few GB free for the patching to happen successfully. If thats not the issue then there are some other things we can look at too.

    What if anyone carrying a flare had some sort of floating icon notation thing above their head that let only their team members know that they possess a flare? A little glowy nuke symbol or something. I know such things are possible. Any reason why its a bad idea? EDIT: And maybe a notation in the B/N screens as well, in case nobody can find the player physically.
