  1. Are you letting the installer run as admin? Like many things, it will need that to be able to install itself to program files because of how modern windows security works. And the launcher itself will need to run as admin as well for the same purpose - installing the games. If you are already running as admin, then there are a couple things it could be. I'm not an expert or anything, but I've seen positive results by clearing out the launcher's storage locations. C:\ProgramData\W3D Hub\ -> This is where the launcher puts files to update the games, dependencies, and its own update files. C:\Users\YOU\AppData\local\ -> This is where the login info is cached or something, probably won't help anything in this case, but I've been wrong before. Try these and post back if anything changes. Thanks.
  2. So what you're saying is..... It would be worth it to see what funny behavior occurs when you enable all this in a test map Just for the giggles.
  3. Have you tried the repair option? Also make sure your hard drive has plenty of space. Always2 is the largest package so if you're almost out of space then this is a pretty good indicator.
  4. "A new and improved version" EDIT: Removed from downloads section. This is now obsolete as the official launcher should be fixed soon (if it is not already).
  5. Firstly, a VIS bug. You can see that when standing outside this doorway in the tech center (first pic), the crate disappears except for its shadow. Walk inside and it appears (second pic). Second, The raised section in one of the round rooms (third pic) tends to be grabby in some places as you walk by it. I could never get permanently stuck, but if you walk against it, it will stop you and keep you there until you back up from against it.
  6. Hey guys! There is a little issue with the official launcher where currently it doesn't seem to want to change APB's resolution. But fear not citizens! I'm sure that someone much smarter than I am will have it fixed before too much longer. In the mean time, you can still get by with this little tool should you need to make a change. Self-explanatory, and hopefully crash-free [Link removed] If anyone has any problems using it, please let me know! Enjoy!
  7. Hello and welcome to W3D-Hub! We.......kinda already started modding/rebuilding the engine a long time ago (10+ years ago), the source is just not public. We have a "scripts" development team that takes care of rewriting the engine to be our own and to better suit our needs as we need new features for the evolution of our various projects. If that sounds like something you might be interested in helping with, then by all means speak up! I can get you pointed to the right people. Again welcome! Please read all our forum/game-server rules and please post or PM me or another staff member with any questions you have. Thanks!
  8. I noticed that occasionally a long time ago before your map was released. I always place it in "the joy of using W3D" category. Doesnt bother me personally.
  9. That I can not answer unfortunately. I'm not aware of any active developments in that area though.
  10. There are a few more that work on scripts stuff, such as Jerad2142 and Dblaney and maybe a few others. We also have one new addition, Neijwiert.
  11. Hey again! Thanks for the crashdump. We'll check it out. @jonwil
  12. Alright lets back up then. Where is your Asterisk.exe located? What permission level are you running it at? If you are running it as admin, try running as normal.
  13. So you are clicking the logo on the small window, not the main window? What is happening should be impossible
  14. If you can't click that logo and get that menu.....then I'm the most confused I've been all day. Clicking that logo literally toggles the visibility flag on that menu
