That's why I disliked C&C3, because it never felt like continuation of my favourite C&C games - TS and FS. I enjoyed the gameplay and the mods but absolutely hated the story, especially from Nod's perspective.

I agree with this. You don't a Ranger hoping to take on a Mammoth Tank, so don't buy a Rocket Soldier hoping to take on anti-infantry units.

The Shock Trooper is now too difficult for me to use in an anti-infantry capacity due to my high ping, having to connect to the EU from the US. That’s why I mainly use the unit for anti-armour purposes only. I will take the advice of @Pushwall and aim for the legs.
