  1. So you're not going to vote on anyone then? I don't have any reason to suspect anyone one way or another, and I don't feel like throwing someone under the bus just because, especially if they end up being town. So yeah, no vote for now.
  2. Fair is fair, although I'll be at work before too long, so... ##unvote
  3. Fair enough. I'm also pretty eager to get into the meat of things, but I suspect that takes more time than I thought.
  4. In that case, being bad. I have nothing to hide.
  5. Yeah, this is my first time as well. I read the previous game to try to get an idea of how to sniff out scum, but I'm still unsure. Although it's weird that you'd immediately try to sniff out the newbies. Maybe you think that you're capable of convincing us to lynching our friends when in reality, you're the one who should be lynched?
  6. Noted for future reference. Thanks for the info!
  7. Didn't I do that? Or are you saying that I don't need to put "lynch" in? If so, cool, got it.
  8. Tempting, but seems like a stupid icebreaker. I'm going to ##votelynch Voe because if he's Allies he's a major threat, and if he's not I'll just unvote later. Guess it all depends on how this plays out, eh?
  9. And so it begins! Little nervous, but I'm excited! So is someone going to roleclaim or should we just start arguing until someone gets shot?
  10. Apologies to my teammates ahead of time, as I'll probably botch this badly.
  11. There's still a good chunk of people who play from time to time. If you're still in contact with people from that era, invite them over, because Delta is far better than NW.
  12. Not sure if bot or just extremely bad grammar...
  13. Captain: Versatile, good all around unit. Shock Trooper: Great against vehicles and buildings. Pretty decent against infantry too, but it takes some skill. Artillery: As I am the person who likes to take out the base, this is a good unit. Also holds up somewhat decently in combat. Tesla Tank: On it's own, great. With armored support, point-and-click adventure. Attack Sub: I love surprising my enemies with some well placed holes in their botes. Fun times. Longbow: I just like blowing up vehicles. Also holds it's own in the skies.
  14. I agree as well, however I still feel that there should be a slight damage increase so that a couple well-placed engies don't completely ruin the attack in an extremely cheap way. I vote buff the damage to 35% (40% seems a bit overboard), and if that doesn't work, give it more mobility.
  15. That guy was a badass. Interestingly enough, I almost went with Lu Bu. Go figure.
  16. The problem with removing or even reducing friendly fire (IMO) is that it's very much a risk/reward unit. A trio of them costs 7200 credits, they take a while to get into position, have no defenses of their own, then you have to deploy them, and if you lose even one, the entire attack is botched. Not to mention that using your remaining escort wouldn't be great for an immediate follow-up attack due to the damage received. You should be rewarded for succeeding in this ambitious task, and punished for messing it up. Not in a game ending way, but in a rush ending way. However, I do agree with the increase of damage vs enemies. One or two engineers hunkering down at the MCTs with a well-timed swing shouldn't be such an easy counter to 3 MADs attacking. The proper response should be a counterattack on all sides with the MADs being priority targets.
  17. Joan of Arc, the closest we have ever come to a real life Wonder Woman.
  18. Perhaps a respawning engineer crate in the bases on Hostile Waters only? That way having the Barracks go down isn't a total loss, but still detrimental to the team, as well as not impacting the rest of the game.
  19. Why not just put a single Flame Tower/Pillbox in the middle of the base, so that they can deter infantry rushes without ripping apart ships?
  20. Base defenses aren't bad. They're an obstacle. And unlike natural obstacles like mountains and rivers, they can be destroyed and avoided rather easily. Defenses that are too tight to take down can be an issue, but well placed defenses here and there can allow a match to change and evolve as it goes on.
  21. It's part of the Old Spice truck pack I released a while back: https://secure.w3dhub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=415813
  22. I made this a while back, might make a new version soonish.
