I think that someone tried that already, but they got a C&D order and had to shut down.

I'm of the opinion that helicopters would go a long way to solving the arty problem. Only problem is, the bases are already tight as it is.

Not to be "that guy," but Fissure has silos. They just go down very early on because they are not in easily defendable positions, and half of them are inaccessible by foot, so they can't be repaired.

I'd imagine that we'd just do what CNCnet does and allow the launcher to hook into your installed copy of Renegade and then direct connect to the server from there.

I don't see the downside. I'll pass this up immediately.

Not Starcraft per se, but in the nearish future we do have another classic RTS to be brought to FPS. Stay tuned.

I think that if you have the right files and they're named correctly, you can just slap them in your data folder and have it work that way. Of course, I'm not sure if the servers run anti-cheat, so there's that to contend with...

This makes me incredibly happy. The drama is dead and buried, but the community and the games are alive and well. And I think it'll stay that way.

Well, I still have hope for keeping this a good discussion. That's not a bad thing, though, especially if you pack German Tank Destroyers. It's almost like duck shooting in the later tiers.

The Tog is actually a good tank. You just have to use cover like your life depends on it, because it ultimately does. True, it does have some drawbacks, but I would consider it a worthy buy.

Usually I play whatever I feel like, but I think that my favorite might be the Gungans, oddly enough. I like to build grand armies, and being able to place housing underwater is a massive advantage.

I go by ZoneDestroyer, and I am the worst player in the 495th. I don't mind too much, though, as I still have fun. I haven't had access to the internet in any way besides my phone, but when I do play, I prefer Heavy Tanks above all else. I also love Artillery and Tank Destroyers, and when I find a Medium that I like, I'll run with it. I tend to either snipe from behind the lines or charge into battle gloriously. I do best in urban environments, and I have more fun when collaborating in a platoon over Teamspeak.

It's pretty hard to put my favorite games into any particular order.
