  1. We'll be sorting a few things out with the Airfield, especially with damage animations/emitters. Enjoy Yaks anyway in the meantime though.

  3. There is a special place in my memory reserves for the voice recordings since, as you undoubtedly know, Laffo is my brother and I remember his doing all that. The EVA was recorded at different times, which is what led to some seriously inconsistent-sounding recordings.

  8. This game doesn't work like other game engines, and adding polygons to connect a bunch of not-touching barrels, for example, would cause collision problems among other things. Sounds like a total mess. Just keep the singular-object-but-multiple-element meshes separate as elements.
  9. I usually make cuts and weld the vertices in simpler or larger meshes, making for singular elements. Makes for better lighting and doesn't add much complication to the geometry. In smaller, complex objects like vehicles it's probably better to let a few, small, floating elements overlap into the vehicle body slightly.

  12. As an engineer I ran up to clear some mines on Complex. I was elated when I got lucky in destroying two phase tanks with one of their own AT mines... It's sometimes fun to just go out and repair your own arties in the field. What's not so expected though is when they defeat you and the arty with an organized Ore Truck Sandwich.

  15. Keep! Maybe reintroduce the secret without all the teleporters? I know it would take reworking the whole ending room, but adds an interesting dynamic to the map.

  22. I use OBS to record gameplay and Teamspeak (including my own voice). GIFs I tend to translate from video to Photoshop, but I tend to do that not very often.
