Bayonetta
In short: no release until rubber banding is sorted out, the same thing the APB server is suffering. Rubber Banding?

Bayonetta
Lag from here to there and back again......and back...again But how does that effect a new release or progress on a new release?
ChopBam
But how does that effect a new release or progress on a new release? This is like asking how going in water will make a person wet. The whole purpose of having a release standard is to release a playable and fun game. If we can't do that, why release?
moonsense715
The current public version of Reborn is playable, but the test-version lags like hell. Releasing that would be a downgrade, definitely not an upgrade to the game, sadly We need to fix it first.
Willy
You are never going to get a job in a ridiculously big game studio with the attitude of not releasing something utterly unplayable. *Disclaimer: This is more a jab at larger studios' practice of releasing unpolished, unfinished garbage in order to meet deadlines, not at the developers behind Reborn, APB or AR.

Well i'm not gonna get into the ethics of the Mod's Team's Ability to work on Reborn and get it released ect. Yet you can't compare a huge studio of 200+ Game Designers to less than 20 people working individually on their own time on a project without getting paid. The current public version of Reborn is playable, but the test-version lags like hell. Releasing that would be a downgrade, definitely not an upgrade to the game, sadly We need to fix it first. FRAYDO
Regarding the lag issue of Reborn, the fix has been found and progress will now continue.
Ulysses
Just wondering if there's anything new in regards to the progress of the new update, I'm not going to ask for any kind of anticipated release date, just wondering how things are going.
Popular Post FRAYDO
While it may not be the most exciting thing you'll hear today, the TSR team has been perfecting balance and damage output for all units. Testers assigned to this task have provided feedback and have sped this process up. With that done, we can then look to re-rigging existing units and eliminating known bugs. We have a forum upgrade due this week, and with its completion you can expect to see some TSR news hitting the front page.
Bayonetta
Are weaker units gonna still be useful later game? Like Buggies and Bikes?
FRAYDO
That is currently on the development agenda. Units such as the Wolverine and Buggy have been bought only when players did not have enough money for something better. The current goal with these weaker units is to give them more identity. Sorting out balance, the intent is to make these units viable in both early and late game.
delta
My suggestion would be to just make them a bit better against infantry...especially Ghoststalker, Cyborgs and Cyborg Commandos.

Ulysses
Fairly certain that things are chugging along, can't wait to see what's going on.
Raptor29aa
Silence is gold, but silence is also maddening translation there is probably a lot going on, and no one has the time to post an update because when they do... something just for finished and didn't make it in. either that or they don't want to post a blog about coding as that would bore readers (except for those strange few that would froth at the mouth at l1nes 0f c0de).
