TS: Reborn August 2016 Update

Outside of a public release of AR, this is the biggest hype I've had for TSR in a very long time.

Would this be the reason that the server for TSR has been down?

 

The current version has some bugs, some of them are server-side and have been causing crashes. I'll let someone else clarify if I have this wrong, but the last I heard on this is that we were just going to temporarily turn off the TSR server until we can bring some stability to it.

 

That aside,

I'm just worried there won't be enough Dakka. Has there been plans for more Dakka in the texture-mesh-mould-thingymabobby?

 

Otherwise looks like some great news for 2.0!

I couldn't agree more with this post. When I think of GDI during Tiberian Sun, I see the themes and colors seen in the images below.

When I see the blue, it reminds me of Tiberium Wars, the game that ruined the story for me completely (opinion), not Tiberian Sun. I just thought I'd share this feedback here too.

And what about the testers for it?

I do not fully understand the question, but the current testers will test TSR 2.0 before it is released. (Oh, and to give you any kind of indication, we do not have a playable internal beta yet.)

 

 

Will mobile EMP vehicles be spammed in numbers like JumpJet Troopers?

Who knows? :v

All I can say is that Mobile EMP tanks could either make or break the game.

Mobile EMP generators are honestly the besy anti DT Defense.... it should be deployable like the MSA but emit a small, short range EM-Pulse every 1:20 and disable a vehicle for a period of 15 seconds.

I feel that 15 seconds is a bit too long, EMP mines are only something like 5 seconds and that feels more like 20.

But on the whole I feel like it's a great idea.

Btw, to the Reborn team...for the upcoming update (if you're not already doing this) could you rearrange the purchase menus so that more commonly used vehicles like the Tick Tank and Stealth tank show up in the top four slots, while others like the DT and SubAPC get moved down?

also while on the topic of the purchase menu, it currently hides the amount of credits you have when you bring it up. drives me crazy ):
