  1. Read the video description if you find this next one confusing. If you can't see it, it's because it's blocked in the US/Germany/Italy/other due to a strange copyright claim and you need a VPN to see it.
  2. Meta is still probably going through his 10+ hours of footage from the previous event... and we're already starting a new one. Poor Meta. xD
  3. 10/10 would let PXD blow up our airfield again. Can't wait! Gonna be fun!
  4. Thanks! I appreciate the input as always! Thank you kindly good sir!
  5. And here we all made sad faces thinking that nobody recorded the LST fleet! Good man! The ghost of baba Yaga was certainly with us that day!
  6. @Metaridley for doing his part in helping support lead the Vodka Squadron. @ryknow69 for the Chrono rush and combined enthusiasm in the spirit of the game night. Plus telling us to hold before takeoff like a pro. @ChopBam for spreading verbal fear as the Vodka Squadron did its glorious work for the motherland. @NodGuy for the priceless look on his face helicopter when we showed up with about 8 LSTs to counter his aerial harassment. @Killing_You for taking an LST beating like a champ. Vote for more people everyone, it's not like you only have one choice. Spread the love around a bit!
  7. Rest assured that your contribution will not be forg0ten.
  8. Got any footage of that anywhere by any chance? Would be cool to see what happened. Don't think I was there.
  9. I've seen a lot of great play from many people (not just as players, but being good people on voice chat too), but this time I'll suggest Momok for consistant teamwork no matter the assortment of players that happen to be on her team. Also because she's the only one who can V2 one-shot my GAP (to my infinite but fun annoyance) and make the entire Soviet team rally into a frenzy afterwards. Plus she had a stolen TT on the Allied side for almost the entire round of Under. Honorable mention of Meta for that one move that will be forever known as the Under LST Incident of 2021:
  10. Thank YOU for investing the time and effort to create them in the first place!
  11. People need to stop thinking of games in terms of dead-or-alive. Player activity goes up and down, can be seasonal, and is affected by many things - including going over to other games such as AI (that has been having regular 40+ player games recently). APB has been through drops in activity numerous times in the past, as with any game that has had its initial hype run already. Some players love the flagship large full server competitive battles, while others are also happy with a smaller count or coop or just having fun with bots and some friends. The core players will always come back to the game but keep in mind that playing the same things over and over all the time saturates one's desire. People need a break. And what I've noticed with APB in particular is that being the good game that it is, these brakes happen after longer periods of large server activity. It goes up and down. What you might look forward to beyond future updates to the game is that the winter holiday season is coming yet again, and that's usually a time where APB picks up again in player numbers. APB is alive, it just depends on what day/time you check in and/or what you personally want out of the experience.
  12. So I could just find the best spot overlooking base entrances and become a sniper-dog looking for 007s? Doesn't seem that fun or fair to the spies. Instead, why not make the dog play barking sounds when in range of the spy? This could be coupled with the targeting box showing red instead of friendly green as well. Not barking super close that it becomes an instant-bite scenario, but also not so far that you can locate them easily by just running around the general area. More like an inside-the-building kind of detection range. An added bonus would be all messages sent from the dog-player be displayed as "BARK!" or something. So you can't speak with humans, but you can alert them with the auto-detect barking while you hunt down the spies yourself (though voice chat brakes this). And then the hunt is on with a new type of defensive character class that doesn't allow you to abuse the potential running speed to spy on the enemy team and relay it back too fast - you'd have to run back and get a human character (again, only if you're not on voice chat). So that part might be a bit messy in implementation but it's just a fun idea from my end. The bite attack itself though, I'd prefer it to be an area-of-effect type of thing or just targeting a larger kill-box because APB moves fast and twitchy, so it could be frustrating to time the bite. All of this depends on a lot of iteration and testing of course, so just take my thoughts as a bit of brain food to fuel further discussion.
  13. I'm a simple man. I see: C&C memes By ChopBam 2 hours ago I click and upvote.
  14. I'm working on another video, but wanted to release this in the meantime.
  15. Thank you! That's really great to hear! The only utopia that could potentially exist is one that isn't a utopia. Being in a utopian state implies that it has reached peak development, which cannot happen because knowledge and evolution both in humans and the infinitely wider world is in a state of constant change. I don't believe that there is a point where you know everything or have everything always figured out as it stretches in size to infinity. The only version of a utopia that could be applicable is "a flawed one" that would be based on constant change with good intent, but that is very subjective. You can only ever get closer and closer to something like that, but never reach it as it has no fixed state. That's my general take, although this is a more complex topic that I'm unable to do justice with a single post.
