  1. Blame the stupid competitive community for the Symmetrical maps. They want everything to be equal.
  2. Skirmish will definitely be included. It would be stupid not to. Especially since they are doing red alert on the same engine.
  3. I hope they have more rotations for the units. The turret rotation looks a bit choppy. But overall i do like the look so far. I hope they have a speed slider as well as the default speed in the original games was WAY TOO SLOW.
  4. The reason why in IA the turret isn't super low is because then it would end up aiming into the ground far too often. There are maps in IA where the camo pillboxes are super hard to spot. Blazing sands in particular sticks out. The camo pillbox also has tons of health (although IA doesn't have a normal pillbox)
  5. The server might be having some pretty serious issues right now. Unfortunately I am not home at the moment but I will try to see if someone can unplug and plug it back in.
  6. Mt.Pass actually doesn't have building restore powerups because it has a conyard. They don't spawn on maps with conyards since the conyard can buy buildings back. If you lose the conyard you are out of luck.
  7. Please make it manually select the language. This is going to be a huge issue when helping people troubleshoot things if its not in English by default.
  8. This is simply not possible to realistically accomplish with the ways IA is set up. The PT icons have their text on the image themselves, the kill messages are generated server side, and there are many other ingame textures that contain text as well.
  9. Doing uninstall on IA removes all the config files and any additional files downloaded by ttfs which repair does not do.
  10. Try uninstalling rather than repair.
  11. Can you try doing an uninstall on it and then reinstalling it?
  12. Interim Apex needs its own client installed. Make sure you have the IA client installed in games.

  15. Use the left click against grenadiers. The right click uses a flamebased heat weapon that doesn't damage the grenadiers flame shield well. The primary fire which uses a normal shotgun shell does.

  18. I have MSAA 4x on by default in the IA client. That will smooth out everything except alpha textures. Those require supersampling to smooth out. Although now that I am thinking you may have turned on FXAA in the ingame performance menu which will smooth out alpha textures (it really just blurs them). I recommend turning fxaa off though. Its nothing more than a smear filter. It looks decent right now cause you also have MSAA 4x on.
  19. Wow MSAA is being done as supersampling in Wine from the look of it. The alpha on the trees is definitely being supersampled. I manually enable this on my end in windows with NVIDIA control panel but its interesting to see that Wine is doing this by default. Its also impressive to see how well wine emulates direct3d in opengl. The Launcher using 3d acceleration is normal. WPF was created specifically to use the GPU for rendering as well as be DPI independent as it primarily uses vector drawing rather than bitmaps. It was introduced in Window Vista.
