  1. Looking into it, I used to be quite the pilot in Battlefield Vietnam and BF2 so I could probably at least be a bit of an asset.
  2. All the vehicles you make are downright sexy. I really dig this Merkav and am excited to play a big game of this mod. Any plans to make the Abrams prettier or add a Leopard?
  3. "I love the dear old ranges, I love the prairie trail. To watch the cattle grazing and hear the coyotes wail. Swinging in the saddle just before the break of morn. Take me back to old Alberta, the place where I was born. Ohdadeeeyodelaidalaidlalaidlalaidhuhuehuehuehueee"
  4. Nope, I was talking about the Mobile Gap generator and how the Allies use it offensively against the Soviets by driving straight into their attack with it. The question was answered, so let the thread die please.
  5. Oh will you be surprised when you see the best mod for Renegade. This looks totally awesome, I LOVED Boris. Found way more use out of him than I ever did Tanya. Those MiGs look downright sexy.
  6. I was too busy getting killed by an arty outside of the gap gen to even read that.
  7. Mobile Gap Gen has been a pet peeve of mine ever since I started playing this again. Why the heck can't you see the truck whilst inside the dome? From a gameplay standpoint, it makes no sense as the allies should be fighting tooth and nail to keep the soviets from outside of the dome. I have way too many folks just driving up and running a Gap Cloud against me and my fellow comrades and I'm too pleb to find the truck whilst in a tank. Renders prove that you can see the Gap Gen when under the cloud too. Don't know if I'm the first to complain about it, or if its due to engine limitations but I feel this little quirk gives a rather annoying tactic to the Allies. http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/cnc/images/4/40/Gapgenerator.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20080328134558 I'd post an image of the render, but the forum won't let me.
  8. Well, when I went and saw it theaters in 3D I had an epileptic fit the entire time... That X-Wing cockpit view got me so psyched for an ENTIRE FILM about a space fighter squadron. I didn't enjoy how it was pretty much "A New Hope" 2.0 but I sure dug that super storm trooper with the riot baton. ALSO, Han Solo was a total smirk fest as always. I had a lot of trouble keeping myself from smiling a shit eating grin whenever he was on screen. I'm more worried about the new Star Trek film. Now that's gonna suck since it looks like a Fast and the Furious film (and not Tokyo Drift) which is really disappointing after having two terrific reboots. Why does everybody hate JJ Abrams so much?
  9. People tend to play early in the evenings and on weekends. Most of the playerbase is in Europe so it can be hard to find a good sized game. But in the afternoon on EST on a saturday or sunday theres always a quite a few players ingame.
  10. I should have got in on this last month. These guys along with Ofnir at the end of Ace Combat 5. What a bunch of jerks with their SU-47s and F-15 S/MTD trying to defend a falling satellite whilst debris flies off at you. What a bunch of baloney that all was.
  11. I have a lot of them memorized, but I still find it annoying when I hold those buttons and 1. They don't come up 2. They take forever to come up and you watch your teammates suffer for it I never really hit CTRL or ALT on accident, and if its instantaneous having it pop up won't really effect you adversely and all it does is make communication harder for new and older players alike. ALSO, can we have some anti-radio command spam put in place like ECW has? Sick and tired of either spies or people who are actually on my team spamming radio commands without mercy. Totally throws a wrench in being able to see what the hell is even going on.
  12. The year was 2001. I was still a wee lad, sorting through the bargain bin at the local Staples. I picked out, Hard Truck 2 and my brother picked out Tiberian Sun. I watched him play through the GDI campaign and thought it was the coolest game I had ever seen. I remember when my brother got to the Scrin ship, and I totally didn't believe him that there was an alien ship in it. Watched him beat the whole thing. I was more focused on Rollercoaster Tycoon at the time, but eventually when he moved back to the United States I got around to playing through the Nod campaign and was hooked for life. Got ahold of a burnt copy of C&C 95 and played through the GDI campaign for that. Eventually, I got my own PC and picked up The First Decade and was able to try all the other games in the series before deciding that my favourite had to be Renegade.
  13. Was saying this yesterday. Please and thank you
  14. I refuse to watch bad movies. If I see a film is going downhill I turn it off. Even though I love this movie, the english dubs over Italian make me cringe pretty hard. If you haven't seen the Dollars Trilogy, and like cinema. I implore you watch them. Quentin Tarantino basically rides the coat tails of Sergio Leone. Plus the music in this is way better than any Tarantino movie IMO Best part is that Red Forman is the bad guy
  15. Very few people intimidate me in this game. I'd say Delta is a pain in the ass, and so is Silverlight. Ganein can do some annoying stuff too. However, I find the players I fear the most are usually the ones on my team who don't understand that the best offense in this is the best defense.
  16. Well........ Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is the only game I have...... I really enjoyed the campaign... but..... the MP part of it is nonexistant on PC..... I used to decimate the leaderboards back in Ace Combat 6 for 360 when people actually played it over 6 years ago. IMO you have the worst abomination on the face of the planet and should either smash you disk or harddrive/steam account with a hammer/magnet to save the world from the mediocrity that was Assault Horizon. If you get the chance, check out Ace Combat 4, 5 and The Belkan War on an emulator. Super underrated games, phenomenal stories and settings and fantastic gameplay. For some reason someone decided Ace Combat had to throw its entire made up history out the window and transfer to the "real world" instead of "strange real" and for that the games suffered immensely. My personal favourite was Ace Combat 5. Back when games were made to be the best they could possibly be for the time. Game was all atmosphere, even the menus were done up to be like the digital readout on a military computer. Cool as hell. Direct Prequel to Ace Combat 5, I didn't dig it as much because I played it in like 2012. But still a solid game. Now sorry for hijacking your thread. I'm hoping someone comes out with something along the lines of "world of Jets". Prop planes are cool but I've always dug the jets more.
  17. I just despise the flight physics in this game. I'm an Ace Combat superstar but I've never been able to get into war thunder
  18. The Thomas Jane was good IMO. Or at least the best so far. Check out this out That was awesome! I'd agree with you that Thomas Jane was good but I like Jon Bernthal better.. pumped to hear their may be a spinoff because I ain't watching all of Daredevil just to see the Punisher! lol While we're on the vigilante topic, (and in Hells Kitchen as well) Max Payne sure needs a better movie. One of my all time favourite game series, horrible movie though. But here's where my vote went. Watching that .45 ACP shatter in slow mo is super sexy
  19. The Punisher! He's just a regular guy with a bone to pick. I'd like to see a punisher movie that doesn't suck.
  20. I'm just confused as to why he has 3 special editions of Spore lol. Pretty cool collection!
  21. [Offensive video redacted] Found this years ago. pretty wild Some TV show from Australia made with a bunch of scale models and absolute insanity
  22. I love those overdone cloud shadows. Reminds me of life on the prairies. That's a nifty looking sensor! I like the weathered, corroded and wind eroded textures on it.
  23. Who's down for a game of DTA?

    1. Isaac The Madd

      Isaac The Madd

This is months late but, sure I would do that some time.

  24. Excited to see the new version of Forest of Illusion. Used to play 6 person private games with friends on that map 5 years ago and loved trying to pass myself off as a ghost. lol Same with accuracy penalties. I'll have to see if that makes me like the AKM more than the M16.
  25. I haven't checked the latest release out but I played the D-Day Mod for Red Alert 2 a few years back and was really impressed. Tons of different units from early in the war and then there's some from the late 40s and 50s. Check it out at: http://dday.migeater.net/
